  1. Lucy’s first edition of the glycemic index weight loss was the best book I have read on this type of eating. Then I bought her glycemic index cookbook which completed the series. BUT when I saw the second edition come out this month, I had to get it!

Lucy has included even more information on how and what to eat to be healthy – losing weight just happens if you follow her ideas. You will feel great and look great! You will change your bad eating habits and lose weight WITHOUT DIETING.

Thanks for a second edition that really expands on the first – the two editions with the cookbook are all I need. BUT I also bought a copy of the second edition for my daughter who is a Type I diabetic. The info in Lucy’s books works for her and her family – including my brand-new granddaughter. Thanks, Lucy!

  2. I just knew there had to be a way to boost my metabolism that didn’t involve pumping iron. I found out how in this book. I’m eating low-glycemic foods, have more energy, and my clothes are looser. I love the clear and friendly writing style, and the author seems to care that I’m successful. As an avid reader of diet books, I find this one uniquely addresses the psychology of overeating and the day-to-day challenges of knowing what to eat. The five Tibetan exercises in the book are firming up my double chin and midriff. I love this book.

  3. ALB says:

Great book – packed full of useful information and numerous tips for eating well in all situations. So many of them were new to me and the book explained a lot of things I did not understand before (and I think of myself as knowing a lot about nutrition). This book has given me an understanding how food works in my body, which has helped me make good choices and lose weight.

  5. as a type two diabetic, i am always looking for new ideas and information. this book attemps to present a clear description of the concept of glycemic index, and in my mind, it succeeds. i did not find anything new but what was included was clearly presented and easily adapted to most life styles, for those who want to try it. i consider this book a good addition to the diabetic’s library.
